I went to the doctor today and found out I have a shin fracture, Boo! Just when I was starting to fall back in love with running! No running for 3 weeks but thank god I can still do yoga!
I'm currently signed up for the SuperCon Fun Run, Roswell 13.1 and All-state Half Marathon so I HAVE to keep training! I'm determined to get a good time in one of the half's!
My beautiful but delirious friend Nicole is trying to talk me into doing a Full Marathon with her in October. I don't doubt that I could physically do it (with training) but I couldn't mentally do it! I cant even imagine this conversation on a sunday morning this summer:
Me: "Scott, I'm leaving to go run 20 miles, Ill see you in a few hours"
Scott: "But its 98 degrees!"
Me: "It's ok! I love running and I'm so glad Nicole talked me into this!"
I dont think I have enough music on my iphone to get me through 26.2 miles! I really want to check this off my bucket list but I don't want to do the work, is that too much to ask??
